My Sacred Grove is a place where members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can share the story of their personal conversion — tied to the specific place where it happened. Just as Joseph Smith's sacred grove in upstate New York became the site of a world-changing spiritual experience, each of us has our own sacred grove. This project exists to collect and celebrate those stories from around the world.

I’m a husband, father of two boys, and a student of anthropology with a focus on lived religion. After serving in upstate New York, I developed a deep love for the First Vision and the Sacred Grove, along with a lasting passion for sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
